History of the mud

Phyco the muds creator

Dragon Ball Series mud was created by Phyco in early 1999. However he began to plan out dragon ball series in early 1998. The reason for such a long delay.

One he had to fully review the series before he could start a mud based on it.

and two he had to make sure he really wanted to start the mud itself.

As time progressed Phyco began to play with all diffrent version of source codes but finally decided to use
SWR 1.0. The space system along with many other features is what prodominetly drew him into the source code. "It was easy to manipulate and could accept code from many diffrent code bases with little modification."

Phyco's first attempt at creating a dragon ball based mud was dbseries 1.0 he admits it was very sad and unstable but he says it was more of a blue print in the direction he wanted to take the mud and how much he would need to modify it to give it a true Dragon Ball universe feel. Since phyco also wanted the mud to be free from people playing charecters like vegita etc. he decided he would set the mud 400 years after Dragon Ball G.T.(Grand Tour) With Goku still living since he absorbed the dragonballs at the end of D.B.G.T and Fat Majin Buu since he was infact immortal and reformed once Uubu died.

Over time phyco meet up with the current head builder Goku. The two quickly formed a relationship. Phyco would code the world and Goku would build it. Soon Dragon Ball Series preimere edition would open.

The mud offically opened on January second 1999 when phyco posted the muds listing on mud connect. Soon after Dragon Ball Series became a populer hit but it still did not have the feel that phyco was looking for.

Not long after this Phyco was introduced to the coder Moonraker. This would launch a new era in the muds design and playing style. While phyco was learning how to code through doing the mud moonraker was a expert and quickly showed phyco the ropes and also wrote in many of the systems used today such as powerlevel, Scouters, And gravity machines.

Unfortunatly there was a falling out between phyco and moonraker and moonraker soon left dragon ball series to start dbr. Phyco using his new understanding of the code set out to create a larger and more complete system for the players. It was Gavin of Unknown Regions Swr that helped phyco. Gavin has since provided countless hours of tech support as well as a copy of his muds source code to phyco in order to help better Dragon Ball Series. And that is a brief history of Dragon Ball Series M.U.D. as it stands today. a much more indepth version will be written latter.

Nice little Tidbits.

How did he get majin Buu?

Through a trivia contest when the mud first opened.
